A supercharged team I have been a part of
I loved being part of a supercharged team whilst directing a musical theatre production. We were ready to laugh and work hard, whilst being clear on the reason why we were telling the story. The sense of community and shared passion created a great social environment, building relationships across both smaller groups and the wider team. Particularly in fast-paced businesses, it is important to invest time in each other, along with the projects at hand.

Why I love what I do
I love getting into the complexities of, and working on, a business challenge, from the numbers to the resourcing structures to the human dynamics! I have a deep passion for cutting through complexity and I hate inefficiency; it sometimes gets me in trouble.
A business result I'm proud of
Over the past few years I have found connecting businesses with customers and seeing the change this makes in people incredibly rewarding. On a recent programme with a big utilities company a member of staff involved said “they (felt) more connected than any time in the last 12 years”. That is one of the many reasons I love this job. Re-inventing businesses should benefit every level of a company and I always have an eye on frontline colleagues.
