When a small group of friends and I had to organise a baby shower last minute, everyone stepped up with a clear brief. We all stated what we could take on and fully owned our ‘bit’ to the end. With the help of frequent updates on WhatsApp, we could help each other out as we went and no one was overloaded. It was a true team event, and the outcome was a successful surprise baby shower!

Why I love what I do

I am a closet control freak who loves a plan. With a background in project management I treat every task through this lens, and really enjoy supporting those around me to achieve a successful outcome. No day is the same, particularly in a new business, and I relish multi-tasking at the centre of the action to help us all work as efficiently and happily as possible.

They say a problem shared is a problem halved, so facilitating a number of ‘discussion dinners’ where businesses from various sectors could chat about the challenges they are facing in a continuously changing landscape was very rewarding. We helped them share their experiences of facing disruption - both good and bad - and created lively discussion and a great sense of collaborative spirit amongst the various businesses that attended.
